The proposal for the “b.malfatti middle school extends the spaces for learning to that of the community, promoting the inherent purpose of sharing knowledge and culture. Thereby shapes a building with a strong symbolic value, an architectural flat that embraces the surrounding nature. The semicircle composition is mirrored in the circulation that, as designed, provides a better way-finding to the different locations. The classrooms are versatile and can be rearranged. The “b.malfatti” school is a project for the community, entirely conceived and developed through bim technology, conceptually and technically carried out to meet all criteria and assessments encoded by leed platinum and casaclima certifications.
