Jaguar, mosaic in marble slab

The artwork is an extraordinary transformation of a precious portoro gold marble slab. The artist’s vision stands out from the marble slab thanks to a processing of breaking up and arranging the matter and thanks to the mosaic technique. The two-dimensional image of a jaguar face comes out through the rearrangement of the matter by the skilful artisan who makes the mosaic according to the antique technique. Every tessera is cut and positioned manually.
