Mixed use Service Masterplan and architectural concept design Program The project is located in the hilly district of kağithane, north of istanbul in a mainly residential area characterized by a very high density. In front of it there is a large cemetery built on a flat land that allows an open view towards the city and the sea. As requested by the client we had to demolish the existing buildings in order to rearrange the 160.000 sqm of buildable surface. So we took the chance to create a true urban system in which the purposes defined a proper morphology. Pedestrian walkways on the surface and vehicular streets under the ground, 12 residential towers and one hotel tower that supported by pedestals where all the common facilities and services are, and a large urban park that serves as connective tissue.
